Hahaa ive been working at the career and education fair 2009 for the past few days, will be doing it until sunday. Meanwhile, i found this post that i didnt submit very long ago in 2006. I was lying on my bed one day, thinking of my korea trip, when suddenly i felt like reminscing it, so i went to search my archives, and realised i didnt post it! It was in my drafts zzzz. And so i think i only posted till Day 4. I kinda forgot what happened for the rest of the days.

Ok i'm back from korea le...haha day 1 and day 2's post is posted in korea
in the PC cafe...but i think you all better read it again cos i got update some details i rmb..

Day 1

9pm met at airport...
nth much done at airport bah
i felt abit sad i wasnt able to be at camp with council
my last bonding camp sia...
hahas...but i saw qinhui yupp..
same plane same tour agency just different number of days we staying
i went with family and my cous and her mum...
my cus is a swimmer at Singapore Sports School
cool ritex??HAHAs
In the departure hall
used the free phone...hahas
tried calling a few ppl but onli one answered lolls..
In the plane
Flew Asiana Airlines OZ752
OZ753 is the plane i'm taking back...so you guys better pray its safe lol...
Whee guess what
THE PLANE HAS MOVIES AND VIDEO GAMES
Got Stepup, Fast And Furious, Click, Just My Luck, Lakehouse and many more!
games not tt fun lah...those disney normal games
Slept in the plane
The Toilet got free toothbrush and toothpaste sia.. =D (ok tt was stu[id)
Reached Seoul/Incheon at arnd 6am ( Korea time, SG Time minus 1 hour)
Met the tourguide and stuff and went on our tourbus!

2nd Day

Actually from the time we reached the airport is 2nd day le
Man the weather is so freaking cold
minus 10 degrees when i was there..
my body wasnt very cold...but my face was FREEZING
Was so freaked out worrying my nose wd drop off =x
then went to this Da Chang Jin Palace..
the place the show was used to shoot the drama
Haha took quite a no of photos bah...

After that went to Nami Island

Lunch was ginseng chicken hahas
not bad la...but ginseng is bitter yuckk...
They said smth like must eat kimchi or will bleed nose -_-
so i eat alot..Lol
dun wan my blood to freeze...
then dinner is barbeque chicken..(all chicken sia)
They have this cabbage thingi...
then you put the rice and chicken on it...
then you stuff it into yer mouth

Went shopping later on
My gosh...the goods are ex lar?
one Macdonald EVM is like...7500 won?
Which is like 12 dollars in Singapore 0_0
one very big stuffed teddy is S$205(not very ex i heard)
and i bought two ppl's present ler..muahahasx
dun worry its not the BIG BEAR
Ok and i dunno why, but i kept banging my head here
i knocked my head many many times in the bus...
i think too cold then i carn feel my way arnd sia...
set off on a 1 and a half hr journey to my resort later on
Unfortunately...our driver got lost =x
He is a relli old guy..so he was finding the old route
unaware tt times change and a new one was built
ohwells he found it in the end...
stopped by a ski rental shop to rent ski pants..
SAW QINHUI...hahas
he was trying some ski goggles and he looked...hahas...nvm..
GOING SKIING THE NEXT DAY...WHee
The REsort is cool..
More like a Hotel lehh...

we had a choice to sleep on e bed..
or traditionally on the f oor...
lols..of cos i chose the bed...hahas...
cos the floor was dam warm
the tourguide say the floor is warmed by something heating the water below
dunno i hear correct not lar...hahas...but i think shes talking abt a diff thing...LOL

Day 3

The 2nd day of my korea trip
had breakfast in the hotel..
the food abit wierd lehs..
they have kimchi in the morning...lol
Not relli as nice as other hotels i've been too but yea...
at least i'm full..
and the tea...
wahahas...
i was stacking sugar cubes!
Loll..cos was reminded of deathnote... xD

Now this is the fun part...
we went skiing!
was very enthusiastic cos its my first time skiing..
so was like very eager to put the skis on
my cus also..hahas..
ok...then we walked up the big slope to arnd the middle...
carrying our skis on our backs...
when we turned back...
the rest of the tour grp was like...sooooo far behind -_-
ok then the tourguide started teaching us how to skate
i alredy figured out how to wear them but she still wants us to
hold on and wear tgt lolls...
She ( mina, our tourguide ) asked me to demo..
finally i get a chance to ski..
then she use me to teach everybody how to brake..
which is to form an A shape with our skis
So she told me to ski away...
tt was easy to say...
what a move
i pushed myself forward with e 'sticks' and
oh shit i'm skiing downhill alrdy
they kept shouting excidedly to ask me to brake but it was dam hard
its like the skis are moving dam fast and you are to force it to form a A shape
so just zoooommed all the way down and they just stood there
busy maneuvering left and right to aviod ppl
i crashed into a lil boy eventually tho..
hahas..tt reli braked me man...lolls...
but after that..
me and my cus was skiing away
cos we learnt liao..hee..
this is the first sport i learnt the basics so fast lol..
but to walk up the slope was tiring...if onli we didnt have to...
but if we dun go up the slope we cnnt ski down
after being tired of walking up the stupid slope..
my cous and i wandered of to this area full of thick snow
stepping on it can make you sink down immediatly
my father came later and we all had a snowball fight...
(actually its just big pieces of snow...)

At arnd 1pm we went for lunch...
we had barbequed pork? Loll...
i think singapore one nicer..Hahas
original stuff always taste different

Next on our iteniery is hot spring

Its inside the resort itself..
hahas yes its also the DaemYung Resort,
but a different 'branch'
ok first theres this hot bath that is 42 degrees
with a 18 degrees bath beside it
ok...
the 42 degrees bath...IS FREAKING HOT
my skin was burning...
and guess what...
QINHUI WAS IN IT...
splash water on me...darn...
then i dared myself to cross over to the cold one immediatly
FREAKING COLD
omgosh...i was like...frozen there..
then i got out and ran to the 39 degrees bath..
abit warmer nia...hahas...
they had this ROSE bath and GINSENG bath -_-
and many massaging pools...hahas
and theres this open air Jasmine bath
ok...the temp of air outside is arnd -minus 5 degrees...
but the spring is 39 degrees..
so you stand up...you shiver...
you sit down...you're burning hot...
LOll...
beside it is a 45 degrees bath...
gosh i placed my leg inside and i withdrew
i think if i go in all my cells will denature larr...
After that went for dinner then go back to resort sleep le!
One day over..this day was the most fun one
At night went to the PC cafe to go online...
talked to a few ppl...sorry weisheng tok to you halfway the times up auto log out

Day 4

Woke up early in the morning and went xue3 yue4 shan1
some snowy mountain ahahs...
Long trip there..
but worth it...
When we reached there the tourguide told us smth abt
sunbears who inhabited this place...hahas...
Its a nature reserve for them loll...imagine if we kana eaten up

Its cold...hahas...and its snowing!
Lol...sat a cable car up the mountain...
to a certain point..
the rivers are frozen =xx
vEERY bEaUUUtiful scenery...
i think theres like a ice valley in the opp mountains
ok then we started to walk to the top of the mountain we're on
omg...
treacherous!
lolls...the paths are all laid out for you
but what a move...
THEY'RE FROZEN
as in...REally Ice...
Hahas...so quite a few were slipping away...
but lucky no one slipped passed the railings
and goodness what will happen after tt
When we finally reached the top...
the view was just as nice...
hahas took many pics
Suddenly got this relli big gust of wind...
almost blew me down..
very strong..
then the snow now become very piercing le...hahas
hit your face got the tiny piak piak sound
we all all went down ler...
once again set on the 'treacherous' journey =DD
And i saw smth dam funn when i went to the toilet
you noe guys toilet got this urinals...
HAHAs
theres like one with a BIG block of ice in it...
and theres one where the place the flushing water comes out is frozen loll
din take a pic...
cos....my cam becoz of the cold weather became dam cold and temporarily
wasnt functioning =x
then i jiu warm it with a warm pack...
Haha!

I SAVED IT...

Hmm later went to a shopping at some shopping centre

sadly that's the end of my memory. HAI WHY WAS I SO LAZY.
For the rest of the days, i went to Lotte World and another theme park i forgot.
Lotte world is the one with the famous merry go round that all drama serials tend to have
And the Stairway to Heaven Mural. LOL. Alot of ppl hear alrd jealous hahaha.

But over all, my memory of korea was that it is a very romantic and fairytale like place.
The people there were very nice ( Theres this stall vendor that gave me soup
when she saw that i was shivering at one of the places. So nice right! Can rmb until now)
And we were all eating like the koreans in their food shops. BBQ food! There was one we even took lettuce leaves and wrap the meat to eat hahaha.

It is one place to go for a romantic holiday ppl! x)
