Firstly, to start off, HAPPY 17th JIANFEI
Here's to one of the greatest guys i've ever known. Im sure many wouldnt disagree. Before poly most of the guys i've known just sucks, and im thus usually just stuck with the girls most of the time. Now i realise it's not the problem with my way of communicating with guys but the people themselves. LOL.
We celebrated his birthday yesterday. And this is sort of the summary of it.
LMS. (Totally boring really. The teachers are just so trained at talking about life non stop for 2 hours. If not for our boring-tutorial-survival skills, Joan Jt and I would have literally died in class. Played some kind of use-left-hand-only Pictionary to pass the time. Really funny. And since the teacher was talking about Anger Management, i figured she wont get angry. x) )
We met Jianfei after LMS at 3. Oliver Ellis and Matthew were apparently in the Underpass wrapping his presents and all so me and Jt had to stall for time. Very naturally, we brought him to Canteen 1 and started crapping. When we were running out of topics, Yaowei Yongliang and Ariana arrive coincidentally and started talking to us! And we decided to sit down and continue stalling for time. Spent alot of time laughing. It's like...we not only had to laugh at the jokes, but in addition, to continue laughing HARDER because of yaowei's constagious laughter. Double effort man. And there's Yongliang's theory about studying overseas. Because Jt said that studying overseas is lonely, so he replied by saying that "After 1 week there, you'll have friends, and after 8months, you'll have children ." So we laughed at this point that he raised, then suddenly we stun..."Isnt the pregnancy period 9 months? Why 8months have alrd" so we concluded Yongliang study till mad alrd.
And yes we succeeded in stalling for time and we were ready to go. Joan and Ellis went separate ways from us together with the presents because they needed to go do the MotionTV filming thing first and join us later. This way, Jianfei wont see the presents and will think that there's only us today. We gave him our first present! A Bicycle poker card deck. *Claps* And we made him believe it was the only present. And he was happy already o.0
We went IKEA at queenstown after that. Ate Swedish meatballs and some other random food. Cream of Brocolli is nice ok. It sounds disgusting but amazingly nice. Like no diff from mushroom. After that we toured IKEA. And i realise Jt's 'baby voice' SUPER FUNNY AND (hai) CUTE. Sound really like some stupid kid goo goo ga ga-ing. And we bought a small light blue pillow to sleep during lectures. ONLY 1.80! HAHA.
After that we took a cab to Lau Pa Sat to eat dinner. They had a really good live band there. Like seriously, they look like they're in their 40s, but they sing modern songs like damn good. We ordered like super lots of food. Most by oliver, he spent quite alot i think. And we shared the food in the end. Ellis Joan and Seetoh was like hiding behind some shops, getting ready with the cake. (Yes Jianfei still didnt know there were more ppl). Then suddenly, the live band started playing Happy Birthday. And read out a dedication from us. Then he was like okay quite shocked. Then we sang happy birthday in 3 languages to him. Followed after, we started singing again, and Joan ellis and seetoh appeared from behind with the cake. Shock again! Haha...I think Jianfei was like super stunned at that moment.
Dinner was nice. And it reached a point where Jianfei kept laughing at ellis, followed by other things, and laughed constantly for like close to 30minutes. We had to isolate him on another table cos he wasnt eating his food at all.
I'll continue this another time! Somehow cant continue. Summary is, it was a great day! And i think it was one of the most special birthday celebrations i've participated in LOL.
