Tuesday

Went to get my first blazer with my parents.
For your information, the blazer i've been using for my first year
is my dad's wedding blazer, so it's daammm big haha.

At ASEAN 2008, a damn cool event with lots of government officials :D

Yah so we spent practically a whole day looking for one that isnt over our budget and fits me. Started with G2000 where we looked AGAIN at the 44 46 sizes and confirmed that i cant fit into them. Then i went to some tailor shop in Tampines, who said it's IMPOSSIBLE to rush out a blazer by friday.

Next we went to Chinatown where we had curry fish head for lunch :DD Wasted trip again as everything there was for ladies and the emporium didnt have a blazer with a nice cutting for me. (Blazers need to be tight at appropriate areas)

I was getting quite tired by this point of time and wanted to give up
Then we went to our last stop, Far East.
O-M-G
Lol it was FULLLL of those tailor shops la!
And we spent the whole day looking for such shops -.-
And these people are dam zai ok
I dont know why they're all singhs or indians,
But apparently their target market are tourists
So they specialise in making blazers in one day :O
(Recall that the tailor in tampines said it was impossible)
But of course, asking around
We found out the price was like 250 average
So it's quite ex for a first blazer.
However we chanced by this shop, which i was quite reluctant to go in at first
(Cos i was dam lazy and tired alrd)
We went in and asked if there was a ready-made blazer available
He looked at me and his face sort of lit up
He then went to the back and brought out this expensive looking blazer
The interior of the blazer was like Royal Red.
I thought it costs like 300 plus so i just played along and tried for the fun of it.
It fit perfectly.
The guy explained that this blazer was requested by a tourist who eventually didnt come back for it after making a deposit.
...and the price?
$150
Ok $150 does sound expensive but for a situation like that, it's already a big discount alrd.
He even gave me a suit protector and tie haha.

Ok that was like the only special part of my day lol. I guess.? Haha.

Wednesday
I got alot of work so i post until here first :D
