Woke up, went online and really got a damn big shock
Michael Jackson has passed away.

I havent really been a big fan of him, but he is the guy that everyone is talking about, ever since i was born. Dance moves by him, jokes of him, stories about him, all the hype about him, it's just quite sad that it's all ended.

Pity the King of Pop, he has really been through alot in his 50 years. More than anyone i guess. By the way he died of Cardiac Arrest, or simply, heart attack.

Sigh another notable figure dead. The other was Steve Irwin for me...hahaha. Sadded. RIP Michael Jackson

Amazing Raced for Evon and Ziyi's I&E project yesterday.
My group had Kehlim, Jiale and Cabrina. Aside from the untimely suanings and bad jokes (That are mainly about me) they are really a fun bunch and enjoyable to have in a team :D

It was sec 2 when i had my last elaborate Amazing Race.
So it's quite an experience.

First Station ; Vivocity
Were shown different close up pictures and supposed to find the place it was from, and take pictures of it. Our group was very fast in that station. Sat in the same bus as Purdey's group (Daryl, Xiankai, Janet) to our 2nd station and widened the gap.

Second Station ; Singapore National Library
Wasted alot of time. Were given blanks and several pictures of country flags. Supposed to find out the country and told that the initials were the letters to fill in the blanks. After filling what we had, we were with P _ S _ _ _ _ I N. The first thing that hit me was Plaza Sing, but it didnt fit into the blanks, so we decided to find out the flags. So i was sent into the Library, took a lift to the 1st floor, where she told me it was on the 11th floor, who told me it was on the 7th floor. In the end i came out with nothing. Dam disorganised. Later we guessed it, and it really was Plaza Sing. The Blanks could be rearranged. Z.

Third Station ; Plaza Sing
Shown a picture of Evon's SCO group, with Jerry and Grace. Task? FIND THEM. Like omg we spent the longest in this station. Jerry was very easy to find for us, (And i think for many others too) Cos we theorized that they should be lazy and find somewhere to sit, so we checked all the fastfood restaurants. Tadahh! We found him at the back of Mos Burger, and he has the same jacket as me lol.

After that we split up to find the other two. We took very very long. It was only when we decided to take charge of each level and do a thorough sweep where we found them. For me, i went into Carrefour for my 3rd time, and started searching the sides because they were the most ulu. Thennn, i spotted a familiar figure standing very still and straight beside a display. Tadahh Evon found. Then behind i saw Sijie and his partner looking in my direction, so i acted like i didnt see anything LOL, and i started calling my other group to come take a picture.

Last one was even harder...Jiale and Cab found her in the Wine Cellar. The lights were so dim inside and she was hiding in a dark corner beside the entrance of it. The only thing i really saw were a pair of big eyes lol. Cab said she walked through the cellar once but didnt see her just now.

We spent like an hour plus in this station. Then came our next clue "My Old Father Sat On A Chair" Or smth...thought of the answer yet? Hahaha "Lao Pa SAT" LOL.

Fourth Station ; Lao Pa Sat
This was just a station to eat. 20mins we had to stay there before we can leave. Da Pao-ed some food and left.

Fifth Station ; Singapore Arts Museum
Ate my lunch on the way there. Our 'Living Map of areas around YMCA' Kehlim led the way. There, we were supposed to find the Artist and Year of the paintings named. Cabrina and Jiale went in to find. Cleared and our next station is Ngee Ann City.

Sixth Station ; Ngee Ann City
Could choose between two choices, Embarassment or Physical. Embarassment was to lie on the pavement for 5 mins, and we have to shout STOP between 4.50 and 5 mins to pass, or we have to try again. Physical was piggybacking a person from one end to another which is quite far. Chose embarrassment in the end because we were confident we could catch the time. Anddd we did.!

Seventh and Eighth Station ; Botanic Gardens
First station, we were to pick numbers. I picked 2, Cabrina picked 1, Kehlim 3 and Jiale 4. We were supposed to eat food according to the numbers.

1 - One Cup of Mild Concentrated Soy Sauce
2 - One spoon of garlic
3 - Lemons
4 - Two Chilli Padi

The other group vomitted because of the chilli padi, our jiale was strong and finished it just like that haha!

Next was going to Ginger Gardens. Supposed to be blindfolded, legs tied to each other, and brought through a tunnel. During this process, we were supposed to pass a word's spelling, and at the end we have to say it out.

The funny thing about the word was that i spotted it outside already. Because when Ian said we were supposed to spell a word, i started laming around and suggested we start looking for the word in a orchid information display, and the Common and hardest word i found was the species name Zingiberaceae. During the game when Jiale was assigned the word, she started laughing and said the word was very 'funny', so we sorta knew what it was already. Only had problems remembering the last 4 letters.

Ninth Station ; Marina Square
ZOMG we clashed with the group currently in 2nd! (We were 3rd) We were given a list of items found in Marina Square and we had to run to find the prices of them. I went to the Movie Theatre level and got like 3 prices of stuff while the rest went to search too. I still can rmb the prices haha. Ice Cream Buffet $8,90++, Cheesy Pasta Combo $7, Cold Cut Trio $4.50. And Hershey sundae pie was $2.75.

Amazingly, we won!! Because we were the first to arrive with a whole group intact. yayy so we're 2nd. Won $75 and split it amongst my group.

Big thanks to the planners anyway, it was a really fun amazing race. Like, the competition is really there and everyone is racing against each other and getting separated. Unlike some where all the groups are either hardly separated because the task was simple.

Went to celebrate Ellis' birthday afterwards. Happy birthday Ellis! Realise i havent seen them for quite a long time.
