Its Saturday already, and we're into the 6 day of this immersion programme
It's gonna be 1 week already
Time is sort of passing kinda slowly..
But i guess 5 weeks will pass in an blink of an eye
And all these will just be a memory

It's kinda hard to post about the past few days already cos truth is, i kinda forgot. HAHA
Especially Tuesday, which was just an orientation and a visit to a local mall i think. :D
Didnt buy anything though...kinda picky i guess..and afraid i'll overload my luggage :P
I'm gonna buy some shoes and at least 2 pairs of jeans though :)

Breakfasts and Dinners was quite a...ermm...torture...for the first few days
We bought vermicilli, which was what oli liked
First one was instant, i added seasoning, while he didnt, and added peanut butter -.-
I ended up with an upset stomach for the next half of the day
However, it was cured when i had a delicious meal and a cup of sprite

Seriously sprite is like our favourite beverage in Zhuhai. And the food here is really cheap. Haha..laughing our heads off at some prices, though it's quite mean. Aaron had this theory that everything costs close to 50 yuan, like bikes, club cars etc. The most expensive he theorized was a car, 300 yuan. HAHAHA. (In case you dont know, conversion is divide by 5 to Sing dollars) He even said that they had so much petrol, they pay you to use it. LOL

..after all, come on, we're in china. (You know it's a joke)

My first dinner was dry vermicilli and ketchup. This was when i realised i need to plan my own dinner. Lol.

Wednesday we had culinary class, learnt some FnB stuff that we already knew
and we learnt how to make a club sandwich!
My partner was JT.
Our sandwich looked nice :D

It's really quite satisfying, very nice.

On thursday, (Im actually skipping all the details of the lessons haha) We went sightseeing, organised by Anthony, who is our planner for the whole trip.

The place we had lunch was very nice. It's a chinese restaurant, the dimsum was great. Especially the Hargow! OMG! There were 4 prawns inside! :D Very shiok. The amount of food we ordered for that meal, in singapore, would cost approximately 30 or 40 per person. But it only cost around less than 10 for us! :D (If i didnt remember wrongly) It's how cheap their food is. Lol

Their canteen food is even cheaper, one big bowl of wanton noodles is just 5 yuan, and mixed vege rice is 1.20. Drinks dont even need to mention alrd. Haha

We went to visit the Zhuhai Lover Girl, which is the famous statue of Zhuhai =.= It's like a statue of liberty of zhuhai, but it's obviously comparatively smaller. Wind was dam strong. Dam irriating. And there were lots of water cockroaches around. O.O

After that, we went to Sun Yat Sen's home. His...ex home. Quite a nice place, he must've been quite rich back then. I didnt know sun yat sen stayed in zhuhai. Lol. Took quite alot of pictures there..the girls did. Haha

After that was one of the worser dinners. At an indian restaurant. Those who love indian food might like the food there, but those who dont...well...you wont. It's very spicy. I like the butter chicken though... Then there was the performance by our michael jackson, JT. She really got quite into it. It was really funny. However, we realise that the stage was actually set up for THEIR michael jackson. One of the chefs, who had hair like michael jackson, and dress up like michael jackson. His dancing was quite an epic failure i guess. We can describe his performance as something like a parody more than a imitation. And his attire was dam obscene.

There was supposed to be a performance but it was cancelled due to rain. Went to gongbei instead. Was quite moody so didnt have the mood to buy stuff. Thanks to JT, however, she cheered me up with her off tune made up lyrics singing. Haha..really quite funny

Friday came the FnB lesson, where Martin (Our instructor) taught us how to be a good service personnel. First he asked us about our favourite restaurants, then he paired us up to do some stare into your partner's eyes thingi. I got Lilin. Super awkward to look into someone's eyes for no apparent reason. Our eyes kept darting to the side LOL. Alden was red! HAAH. Next activity was role playing, where we were to demonstrate our waitering skills, and act as guests. As expected of JT. she was the best actress/worst customer + waitress (ironic) of the day again. Really had a hard time being her waiter and her guest. Lol. Dam guai lan ahhaha. And mut helped! ZZ

After that we went to this seafood restaurant at Die2 Shi2. The ambience was lousy to the max, full of smokers. Dont they know that people are happier eating without smokers. zz. But the food was nice. Especially the prawns and the fishes. Very fresh! omggg...Hahaha.

Saturday has been nice to me :) Very enjoyable day
