Went with another group to visit Joan at Changi Hospital today.
Yeah since I stay near and I got time on my side I'm able to make a couple of trips (Isn't it good having friends in the east at times like this? Touch wood though)
Well, I still didn't get to talk to Joan cos she's still fast asleep. Hope she gets better.!
HOWEVER, something really strange and random happened.
Before I explain, take a look below

GASP?! Why is lum on the hospital bed?
Hahaha! Actually its not funny la (Only after that), I'm not that mean. I'm sure she's fine with me blogging abt it as well. (Got permission)
Basically she just had one of her fainting spells while visiting Joan...her lips went pale, legs went wobbly. Then I saw her going like "Elle i'm not feeling wel..." and she collapsed on the floor. I managed to rush..erm...to grab her arms but I grabbed the left arm first, so she swung and hit the hollow wall on the right. (WOOPS) Thank goodness she didn't feel anything LOL.
REALLY shocking for us, all the nurses (alot) around her rushed to her as well, and got her on a rolling bed (LOL?! Idk the name). Ellis, mutt and I were like O.O what's going on!
Two nurses then rolled her off to Basement 1 with us tagging behind. At this point she already felt better, regained consciousness and we started to joke about how ironic it was for a patient to be a visitor to another patient.
She was then moved to an observation ward. Note that the time was approximately close to 3pm.
They then started taking blood samples, did some Electro-Cardio-Gram checks, and put her on a drip.
FOR CLOSE TO 4 HOURS we just took turns talking to her in the observation ward. (Only 1 person allowed at a time)
And get this........FOR THE FIRST 2 HOURS THE DRIP WASN'T FLOWING!
Some other nurse realised and sort of started it after so many hours past -.-
We only got out at like 7pm, flustered and disappointed (but considerably amused) at the whole experience. And poor lum had to pay 85 dollars for the torture. I'm sure she wld have wished she fainted somewhere outside the hospital.
She got a medical report, referral to an outside doctor, and a MC (for a sunday?)
The medical report was funny though, had things like
...Patient was visiting her friend when she fainted
...still aware of surroundings.
...Patient is comfortable, cheerful.(LOL?! I think that's like a sarcarstic attack at the noise we were making)Oh! and the best part of all...NOT PREGNANT (YES they had to ask -.-)Lollll. Moral of the story :
Thou shalt not faint within-est Hospital Grounds.
P.S Jump outta da window.
