What?? My previous post was in April 2010?


And my blog stats on Nuffnang went from 50 unique visitors a day to zero!

Yeah I guess i'll start blogging again, but its gonna take awhile before I even sound remotely interesting. I think most of my current friends now don't even realise I have a blog. Haha.


Okay so firstly...let's uh...fast forward from April 2010....

....13 months later!



I don't think I'm gonna talk about what happened within that 13 months I guess?
A huge bulk of it was probably just studies and projects, in which I was angsty almost every other day, hence I guess it was a blessing i'm not actually blogging. LOL




..Let's talk about Now



My official 'life' started after exams ended in March 2011

- 1st Graduation Trip to Seoul, Korea (5 days 4 nights)

Awesome place really, stayed at Dongdaemun. Went with Fion but the trip was too short actually, because the hotel offers were only till 31st March.

Weather was chilly (but not freezing)

Food was awesome

Public Baths were quite an..ahem..revealing experience? (Pun intended)

FaceShop was dirt cheap! I think I have enough products to last me till the end of NS lol! (Of course most of it doesn't belong o me)

And yeah in short the trip was really memorable and the moment I stepped on the plane back to Singapore I wanted to go again. If I really wanted to elaborate I'd...well...no I wont. LOL

- 2nd Graduation Trip to Macau, Zhuhai, Hongkong

Went with some of my friends this time. Ellis, Genevieve, Alden and Matthew. Great people and great trip as well. A large part of the 'selling point' of this trip was actually the nostalgia embedded in the destination.

In 2009 my class was at Zhuhai for some immersion programme hosted by Shangrila Academy (6 Weeks) And yeah we somehow got attached to that place and made an unspoken vow to revisit it soon.

Everyone's like Ugh? Whuat? Zhuhuh? when I told them we're going to Zhuhai. Unlikely place to be at for a graduation trip but yeah to us it was one of the highlights. We stayed in Venetian Macau though, and crossed over to Zhuhai every day. Needless to say, AWESOME HOTEL.

- Jobless

Yeah I guess the title says everything. Was jobless for quite awhile, looking for jobs, screening through jobs. Main reason was due to me being picky I guess. I mean, i'm take this job for 4 to 6 months I'm definitely not gonna settle for smth I don't like?

Main activites for this period were : Spending money with people who were earning money, Gold mining.

- Got a job

..Interesting turn of events?

Yeah i got a job! By the way if your mind is still stuck at 'Gold mining' above, I'm just bullshitting dun mind me.

I am now working at Wing Tai Holdings' G2000's Marketing Communications Department as a CRM Assistant. (In short, I got an admin job)

Basically my jobscope is mainly to handle G2000 membership matters. So I get alot of people asking to change information, having troubles logging in to check their points...

...Oh and of course, the people who have trouble accepting that they are short of points, and hence demand for them in several creative but ridiculous manners.

Oh and colleagues! Female working environment, so I'm the only guy again. (As usual.) This is my first office job so I never really knew how people were like in the office.? They're really nice people, no doubt, but at the start the cubicles seemed sorta like barriers to communication lol. And the fact i'm just a temp staff sorta cuts me off from most conversations about work and stuff? Somehow this has reaaaally gotta be the slowest I have been in warming up to a group of people. (Usually it's 1 or 2 days?) Hahaa

I guess since my previous jobs were NEVER desk-based (OH I WAS DAMN HAPPY TO HAVE MY OWN DESK) I need abit of getting used to. Things are more natural now haha!

- Getting a Non-Camera Blackberry with Data Plan

HAHA i know it's really silly how this is a checkpoint. I reaaaaaaaallllyyy wanted a data plan and a smart phone to keep me entertained! Fortunately for all of you I'm not particularly noisy on Twitter (Maybe Facebook?).

-Graduation 2011

Whoots I've graduated.! I am finally a diploma holder!

In case you have really lost contact with who I am and what I do, I studied in Ngee Ann Polytechnic in the course of Diploma in Tourism and Resort Management.

Really interesting day I must say...lots of memories in this school with many people. So sad to leave it all at once.

Managed to take pictures with some people, but had to leave early so I missed out on others. :(

I really liked the Graduation Bear! (Which according to my colleagues, would cost like $30 plus at other graduations :0) And we got it for free! Hurrah! (And no its not gay that I find the bear amusing)

Well yeah that's probably what's going on in my life up to now? Yes there are those little set backs along the wayy but I'm not gonna list them out here (Yet) Haha.

Of course, there ARE things i'm looking forward to in the months to come!


Kpop Heal the World Meet and Greet


Really crazy luck I had winning two lucky draws in a row. (First one was a digital camera for just taking and passing NAPFA)

I basically won a meet and greet pass to see the Korean celebrities that are coming for the Heal The World concert in Singapore on June 4th.

Don't mistake me for one of those crazy Kpop fans that would actually scream and get all freaky with Kpop knowledge, i'm actually a dormant fan who obviously gets star stuck at times. Haha. Weird thing that i'm actually going to the concert alone so...Yeah. I would probably bring a video camera to document my journey! ( Anyone's eyebrows raised yet?)

Movies!

Lot's of movies coming up that I really want to watch, such as Transformers ; Dark of the moon and so on. (Obviously I suddenly forgot and i'm too lazy to do a quick search) But yeah LOTS of movies to watch! Good thing i'm working

David Choi Concert

Strange that not alot of people knows who he is. Talented youtube star that has recently begun to release albums and perform. I'm going for his concert at the Esplanade Recital Studio on the 22nd June. :)




One of his original songs that got me quite addicted.

And theres the Jayesslee concert in July. HUGE BUMMER that one. I was hestitating due to the costs of the tickets, so i just helped my friend buy 2 first. TURNS OUT THE NEXT DAY IT WAS SOLD OUT.. Gosh am I stupid.

F1 Entertainment Crew Job

Well this isn't really a confirmation, but they did express interest in getting me back in the team last year?

I struck gold last year when I got this job, really fantastic perks and cool jobscope. (I guess everyone's frowning at me now.)

Basically I'm with the team that's bringing in international artistes (From A listers like Adam Lambert to well...stilt walkers) and since my job requires me to work like up to 20 hours a day, I GET TO STAY AT SWISSOTEL for the entire duration of the race.

And the overtime pay's really sick as well.

Yeah but ok now it's gonna be really embarassing if I'm not called back. Hahaha...

Oh and yes, I'm entering National Service this year.

My enlistment date is November 8th.
....and no all you vultures out there won't get to see my hair. :P
