Never knew much about the KTM tracks in Singapore

Maybe because I never took it before?

Actually wait, I remember when I was in PAP in Kindergarten 2 we actually had a trip to sit it!

It's a very fuzzy warped out kind of memory that's literally in sepia tone. But I think I sat before.

So yeah when the news reported recently that the KTM was closing down, I didn't react much.

But how often can you take a picture of the train tracks without being caught!

So I went there with Seed (Seetoh) today in a sorta last min DSLR outing haha!

Reached there abit earlier so I decided to check out the tracks myself first.







Damn was the weather scorching! A few minutes and I was perspiring like mad.



Suggested coming to this King Albert's Park stretch of the KTM because I remember it had an epic looking bridge here!

Decided it was wayyyy too hot so I went back down to Macdonalds to chill



Isn't this opening very familiar to Ngee Ann Students? It's the one we always squeeze through from Ngee Ann to KAP Mac's. Haha.

Asked for a cup of water at Macdonalds to just quench my thirst. And omg they gave me this



I thought they usually gave those small plastic cups? I think I looked REAALLY thirsty.

I then went over to Island Creamery to get myself a single-scoop of 'Ping Pong Milo'

It's one of my favourite flavours from Island Creamery. It has like, two of my favourite food. Milo and Marshmallows! I like the Teh Tarik (Milk Tea) one too. :)

So finally seed arrived. (okay I didn't wait very long haha)



I was using my AF Nikkor 50mm, so it doesn't have auto focus. So I have to manually turn the front of the lens to focus and focus. As a result some of my pics might tend to be blur. But I REALLY like this lens compared to my other kit lens cos the pics are like dam nice! It can go up to 1.8 aperture, which basically means it can blur the background alot!







It was almost as if the entire nation's DSLR holders were there. Almost EVERYONE was lugging along a DSLR camera.


I like the condition of this 1871 sign, the moss just nicely bordered the numbers and there's that awesome wearing off effect of the paint.


Some how I begun to take random photos cos it was basically the same things.
Track, people, track, people, Funny Person, track, people.

There were also many interesting 'cheap thrills' people were coming up with, like this


Who would've thought it'd look so cool? Haha the dad of that lil kid was asking this guy with a DSLR to email him the pics he took of his son. (See what happens when you anyhow take 'nice' pics of strangers)

Halfway through I looked at my slipper soles and I was like omg it looks like it has been through World War 2! The tracks were super dirty and dusty.


Even the dog needed to wear shoes!

Super cute haha.


And I'm not joking I saw at least 5 different pieces of such soles along the tracks. Poor people must've felt the wrath of the treacherous terrain. Wear heavy duty shoes.

My family joined me later and I took pics of them too! Probably their first time here as well hahaa.

Okay it's lateee I'm gonna sleep, got work tmr. Urgh. Should I even extend to August? I kinda want a breakkk. :(
