Been playing around with my camera lately...

I mean...spent like 4 digits on it so i'm reasonably attached to it haha.

Definitely a sense of accomplishment when you manage to capture something you've never been able to take a nice picture of in the past.

Howeverr something's still making things very awkward....

....It's a DSLR

I can feel it practically screaming "Look at me! Imma DSLR" when I bring it out of my bag.

Unlike a normal camera, I cannot go unnoticed or seem...well...escape judgement from people's eyes.

I mean...I guess there are alot of people in Singapore with DSLRs? But I just don't know why most of them look awkward holding one, and I sure hope I don't look the same? (I try hard not to)

I realise girls look nice holding a DSLR, like theres this particular edge about them.

Guys with frames several times bigger than the DSLR itself look fine too, making it seem like a nice lil compact camera.

Theres also the kind that dresses so well that they just look fitting holding a DSLR.

...Then comes...the rest...

And isn't sad when the people with the DSLRs go to a party or an outing, and they're obliged to be the one taking all the photos?

I mean have you ever looked at a nicely put together album and realise one of your party guests are missing from the memories because they're too busy composing them?

...and that's the guy with the DSLR.

So yeah...not that it isn't a noble act by capturing memories for people, but I guess I don't wanna be walking around with the DSLR seeming like an extension of my face. Hahaha.

It hasn't happened to me yet, but well...I'd understand if it happens to me i guess? But I will hopefully remember to have fun first :)

I know! I'll PAINT MY DSLR to make it look cool! HAHA ok im crazy

Brought my camera to work today. (Not to take during office hours)

Apparently the route for Bus 72 passes quite alot of nice sceneries. Cos it's near an airfield or something, and theres alot of undeveloped land.

A few days ago I saw this really cool part of the forest with visible golden sun rays. (Due to the morning mist) Hopefully I get to see it one of these days and try to capture it :P

Ohwells, I guess I'm going to go sleep. Here are some pictures I took todayy.

Playing around with Miniature Mode!

Some of the photos have to be photoshopped to bring out more details, colours and the vibrance in them. I should prolly brush up on my photoshop as well :)
Specially alighted from the bus just to take this sunset view. Not exactly a nice sunset but good enough :)

Just too bad they had to be compressed to be put here.
Ohwells goodnight everyone!
