DISCLAIMER : The following post is about a K Pop concert and contains K Pop related content. If you dislike hearing anything close to K pop please skip this post or else i might risk you thinking I'm some douche.
Also, I am not a die hard fan of K pop. (The kind that waits at Changi Airport or goes to concerts with banners or does anything close to making a loud sound with my vocal cords upon seeing them.)
My support is strictly via earphones.
However with this special opportunity I got to go backstage and thus will do a proper account of it :)
Hello!
I'm back blogging again.
Well, those that talked to me in the past few days would probably happen to know that I actually won a meet and greet pass for a Fan Meet with the performers for the KPOP Heal the World Concert on Saturday. Supposedly exclusive to 50 fans only.
Yeah but one of the conditions of actually getting into this Fan Meet was to have tickets to the main show, cos it's like going backstage and all that. So hence I got tickets and I was there on Saturday to watch the show :)
Well, this being kinda like a really rare opportunity, I wanted to make a proper account of the entire experience so i borrowed Fion's sister's Samsung NX100 to TRY taking nice pictures. Initially I had ALOT of problems with the functions like ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed, so on the day itself I met Oliver at Tampines Library for a DSLR crash course on phototaking. Absorbed everything well and I was on my way to taking (not professional) NON BLUR or OVER EXPOSED pictures! LOL
Since I was early and it's quite on the way, I visited Joan at Changi General Hospital. Just nice she was getting discharged on that day! Amazing, my timing. Lol. Yeah she's fine now and well on her way to recuperate at home :)
Happy Joan!
Then it was off to Expo for the Meet at 2.30pm!
Butttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt....................recieved a message stating that the Meet has been postponed to 5pm due to unforeseen circumstances. Bummer?
Apparently, from my extraordinary talent in eavesdropping and word from friends, T-ara somehow got down from their hotel like very late or smth? Maybe that caused the delay.
So yeah i practically idled 2 and a half hours away looking awesome standing in the coolest way possible watching
people walk past not sweating due to the weather because it was fortunately cool that day. (You can just decide for yourself which parts of that sentence were false)
My ticket. (nahh I didn't get it for that astronomical price)
The venue
To be continued.....
